The Goodman® brand Ductless Mini-Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems use inverter compressor technology to maximize both performance and temperature control.
An inverter allows the mini-split to continuously regulate the thermal transfer refrigerant flow by altering the speed of thecompressor in response to the thermostat’s demand for heating and cooling. This technology eliminates the all-on/all-off or stop-startcycles of some non-invertercompressors. Eliminating the stop-startcycles helpsto increase compressor efficiency and extend the life ofcompressorcomponents. The inverter also helpsreduce sharp fluctuationsin the electrical load placed on a home’s electrical power supply by an air conditioner or heat pump.
